Seats first. Transfer second.
Confirm award space for both travelers, the exact cabin, miles, and cash before moving points. Transfers are generally final, can be delayed, and do not reserve the seats. This sample is not a reason to transfer.
Set up the airline account.
Use your own eligible Flying Blue account for the nonstop option. Check the membership number and name against your card account. Do not send us your password or verification codes.
Work out the exact shortfall.
Subtract usable miles already in the airline account from the confirmed award total. Check your card's eligibility, transfer ratio, minimum, increments, estimated timing, and any fees or bonus before submitting.
Worked example for two: 120,000 Flying Blue miles needed − 0 already held = 120,000 miles to obtain. At an eligible 1:1 ratio, with no bonus, that would require 120,000 card points. Recalculate using your actual balance and offer.

Wait for the airline balance to update.
Sign in to the airline account to confirm receipt. If points are delayed, contact the card issuer or program; do not repeat the transfer blindly. Recheck the flights before payment.
